How to Talk About Risk 

✅ Name it clearly. “Hiring delays are putting pressure on delivery timelines.”

✅ Frame the impact. “This affects our Q2 milestone for Project Delta and our ability to meet SLAs.”

✅ Share what’s next. “We’re working with Talent to accelerate backfills, and adjusting timelines accordingly.”

✅ Invite discussion. “This is where I could use input or a decision.”

This shows maturity, ownership, and strategic thinking. It builds credibility—not concern.

Function 360 isn’t about hiding risk. It’s about creating the space to see it early, act on it, and lead through it.

Because leadership isn’t about avoiding problems. It’s about being the first to acknowledge them—and the first to move.
